About Us

We are a family owned and operated nursery nestled in the Monadnock region of southwestern New Hampshire specializing in container grown flowering shrubs and daylilies. Visitors have the opportunity to wander among our gardens, babbling brook, and historic post and beam barn, photograph gorgeous flowering plants, participate in educational demonstrations, enjoy refreshments and much more.

For the past 16 years we have focused on assembling the finest collection of new and outstanding daylily varieties that have proven themselves hardy for the harsh New England environment. This year we continue to introduce our own "Monadnock" hybrid series of daylilies bred by Cornell horticulturist, George Timm.

What makes Davis Brook Farm unique;

•Largest selection of containerized daylilies in New Hampshire. Container daylilies are quicker to establish and can be maintained without much fuss as compared to fresh dug or bare root daylilies, which must be planted immediately.

•Active daylily breeding program, creating new varieties for our customers in the Northeast by a professional Cornell horticulturist (alias George).

•Our daylilies in containers have extensive root systems and multiple fans per pot. We maintain the same high standards for our customers that order bare root plants to be shipped throughout the country.

•Our daylily plants are selected for the quality of foliage and flower, plus hardiness in our region. Therefore our daylilies are adaptable to any region in the United States.

•Extensive selection of container grown flowering shrubs and roses, grown on the farm are available to our customers.

•A working farm, visitors can see how their plants are grown and cared for. Come join us for a “behind the scenes” glimpse of our farm in the throes of the season.
